@Berg Bok

To normally fit a frame, you step over the top tube with your sit bone (ass) against the nose of the saddle, there must atleast be a 2 finger space between your cruch and top tube, this is incase you fall, that you don't "bangkok" yourself.

If you think logically you are 3 inches above the ground, therefore a smaller frame size is needed.

Now you've been schoold I hope you further pass this knowledge one...

Huh? Something said, not sure what. Need beer...

@xtcman

This is just wrong on so many levels that I wouldn't know where to start in pointing all the errors out.

For the précis version however, wheel size and frame size are unrelated and the distance from the top tube to the ground (or to your lunchpack) is completely irrelevant in finding a well fitting mountain bike.

Also, your logic is as suspect as your spelling - think long and hard about this statement of yours "If you think logically you are 3 inches above the ground" and see if you can find the obvious error. (Clue: think radius rather than diameter).

Now you've been schoold I hope you further pass this knowledge one...(sic)

Indeed, and if the shoe fits......
