Drafting on N14

So on Saturday morning I headed out to Breedts with SeanN and towards Krugersdorp on the N14 we saw a dude drafting behind a car. Wanted to get a picture but didn't get the phone out in time. Also saw cyclists on the opposite side. Isn't that a highway? I can understand why motorists are getting a tad upset.

That portion of the N14 oddly enough is not classed as a Highway.

 

Strange I know. The 'highway ends' signs are just before the Avianto turn off (if you are heading west).

The N14 from Brakfontein Interchange where it joins the N1 (Ben Schoema/Danie Joubert) and R21 to a point between Beyers Naude interchange and the Muldersdrift interchange is a freeway and it is illegal to cycle there unless on race day of the 94.7
