Marc Perel Posted November 14, 2012 Share On Saturday Privateer are holding a really cool event called the Big Bike Beat Down. "The Big Bike Beat Down is a gruelling 3.95km gravel climb rising 289m from Bokaap passed the Noon Gun and ending at the top of Signal Hill." It promises to be properly taxing. Enter on the site and bring your big boy pants.

Marc Perel Posted November 14, 2012 Share doable on a road bike? It's doable for the strong men, or just fit your MTB pedals incase you need to port your bike up at 30% hairpins. john_deer

Vinnydabutcher Posted November 14, 2012 Share Sounds awesome.Anyone want to organize a nice one for Pretoria? There are a few roads going up to the Magalies ridge 1. Just north of Bremmer st2. Otherside of the ridge towards Mooi Nooi side They are not gravel but it could be good fun - even a dbl - bike/run for combined time.
