Boo hoo......stood up on my first date!

Was at Fratelli''s 17.15-45, no one pitched.

Better luck tomorrow.

Sorry about that. The better half got a puncture which wouldn't seal on the way home from Sandton so I had to collect her. Only got home and the wheel changed by 17h50. Rode up river and met Hayley, Karma, patches and Ross on their way back from Emmerentia at about 6pm.

We did a nice easy ride till about 19h20.

I have bigger tyres (2.7's) i can put on, did that count?

I have 1 lycra outfit, but it stays at the back of my cupboard... also still counts, right?

And i do have a light, but i figure lights are kinda like watches. Someone else always had one, so just stick close to them

Nice! I only did half of that - 27.5kmsad.png and the leg feel like it did some work, but tried to push with only the right...anyhow will get there.

Ill ride the rock as soon as I have a new back tyre, this one is all over ther place now and I'll need 2 people there for 'if' soemthing bad happens. It really doesnt seem that bad and I would have done it yesterday, but we all know that testing one's luck in such a moment can turn for the worse....and also, didnt want to put Patches in a situation he might not be able to handle tongue.png

So you assume I would be able to handle it? I'm flattered.

No worries guys did my own ride, will see you for the early group as I don't have a light.

You should take someone's number...that usually helps a lot in situations where people havent met someone and wont recognise you...

What about situations where people can recognize you and you don't want them to. If they don't have your number it's easier to pretend you didn't hear/see them and ride on ph34r.png

Well, even if you know exactly what the people look like, have their nr, and speak to them, but you have no idea where "we are here next to the fence" is, it doesn't help much.

30 minutes of roaming around a parking lot instead of riding?! That's very uncool - have to tighten up the timing.

I would have parked at F and had a beer rather.
