coldfusion Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 Hi did anyone go riding yesterday in the heavy wind? Seems the winds picked at 45-50km/h on Milnerton ridge. Controlling the bike was hard. I felt like I would be blown right off the road. I could feel the wind picking me up!

Yet as you go into Monte vista nearer N1 city the effects diminish as there is less exposure to the ocean winds. In the end it was a good ride. Surprising though the winds were like when Hurricane Sandy was a super storm - nearly 27mph!! Those US riders shpould come to Kaapstad its daily weather here

Its looking fairly good . The tail wind home yesterday was smooth sailing yet I couldn't take full advantage of it due to the cross winds literally trying to topple me!
