Reconciliation Day Swim - 3.2km

Hi there, has anyone done the 3.2 km Barker Rock swim at Clifton. It is this Sunday and I am toying with what distance to do. I have done the 1.6 and all the other 1.6ks around cape town. I swim on average 6-10kms and love swimming in the sea. Anyone done it that can offer some insight would be great?

Do you plan to swim in a wetsuit? If not, being in ice cold water for longer will definitely make is a lot harder. How did you feel after your previous cold water swims?
