Hoogekraal compared to Jonkershoek

Hey all,

 

Was at hoogekraal this morning having a chat with three guys I met at the parking (I wonder if any of you are here...). I have never been to Jonkershoek, but they said the single track there is longer and maybe even a little funnerer than hoogekraal. What do you guys think?

 

I'm having tons of fun at hoogekraal, if Jonkerhoek is anything like it, then I must definitely make the trip and go check it out...

 

Which do you prefer?

Jonkershoek by far. Hoogekraal is tame compared to Jonkers.

Jonkerhoek has way more choice (and less flies). Went cycling there (Hoogekraal) at 9am a few days ago and WOW the amount of flies while u cycling up is rediculous - obviously going downhill the little critters cant keep up

Jonkershoek is a world class mtb venue with technical challenges for all skill levels. And it has proper forest. You can scare youself stupid there in the best way possible.

 

Kudos to the Tygerberg guys with Hoogekraal, another addition to a very impressive mtb expansion project in Cape Town's northern suburbs.

Yeah , the fiancé breathed in 2, choked, fell off her bike, coughed them out , got back on her bike.....and then I don't think it's appropriate to say what else she said / came out of her mouth at this point LOL
