I can park at the Engen corner of Hans Strijdom and Lynnwood if I will have someone to ride back to here with....

Their security chased us away last time, saying we're taking up their customer parking. You could try at the Hazeldean shopping center, it's very close to Boschkop.

Will look on Strava for that. My "road" is the 2nd road past the spa, will tag it. Theres a huge dog there that came about 30cm close to chomping me.

 

 

On topic, Id love to join, but I do 4am rides as 4pm rides are way too hot for me.

.....Now 4am sounds refreshing! How far and how long do you ride for? I also die in the heat but think of it as strategic training to aclimatize body to riding in heat as race prep(not that I am a race snake and always ride in the heat of the day)

I may also jump in here - I work in Garsfontein and commute by bike every day (to Queenswood), so an extra 40-50 odd km's would be nice every now and again

Haven't been on the bike since December but I usually go out either railway tracks (80km/4h) or just out Garsfontein, or around the Boschkop area (40-ish/2h).

So around 2 hours Thursday tomorrow? It's around a 30min ride home for me from the Boschkop road so I don't want to get back too late.

Up Hans Strijdom, right int Lynnwood Road, then about 5km straight and you've got the Boschkop road. S25 48.481 E28 23.251 is on the Boschkop road.
