  1. I have order the part. Just waiting for it to arrive from CT. Holding thumbs for this week.
  2. Hi. Have a few things lying around as well. Please send me the details. Thanks
  3. ASG are the local importers as far as I am aware.
  4. Epic Sports(Centurion) for Ergofit and Lynnwood Cyclery for Specialized BG fit.
  5. On the SA seeding website. Under for participants.
  6. I have had a very similar experience in PTA east. Wire was stretched out lower though. Clipping my pedal and sent me flying. Not a good feeling at all.
  7. They are open during the weeks. Have done a ride there before. But from what I could see it is just the trails that are open. The restaurant seems to only be open on weekends
  8. Spoke to the guys at rush sports and they think that the adapter may be the reason for the rotor rubbing against the shock stanchion. Running cheaper centre locks at the moment and it seems to have solved the issue. Just no real stopping power now
  9. Anyone running the XT rotors with RX brakes? Want to swop to centre lock rotors from the current rotors that are set up with the 6 bolt/centre lock adapters.
  10. I think the reason for not doing the single track from the previous race is due to the fact that this race was meant be at another venue. So instead of doing the same route again they wanted to mix it up a little.
  11. These calculated results are a joke. Surely it is expected that someone doing the shorter distance is going to have a better average speed. This race is a complete waste of time and I agree that we should get an automatic entry into the last race of the series. If we even want to do it that is.

  13. Recently bought the reaction gtc sl 29. Great bike so far and great service from the guys at Bester cycles. Would like to get my hands on some gloves to go with it though.
  14. A good part of the route can be accessed. But unfortunately there are sections that cannot be due to the land owners closing their gates. Most of the first 10km for example are out of bounds. Which is not necessarily a bad thing as that river section can be dangerous to ride in small groups.
  15. I'm definitely keen, especially on Wednesday and Friday afternoons. Can do from around 16:20.
  16. I'm in for Thursday. Please let me know.
  17. Hi. If you haven't come right yet and are willing to make a trip to PTA there are at least two stores here. Hatfield cycles and Hotspot cycles
  18. Hi Jackes. I have one that is around 11 months old if your interested.
  19. Olympic cycles should be able to sort you out.
  20. So I'm not sure as to the general rule here. Was riding along some jeep track this morning when I got caught from behind by two guys. After putting in an effort to stay with them I thought it the right thing to have my turn at the front. I did so but when I looked back they were no longer on my wheel. Am I meant to sit up and wait or assume that they couldnt/didnt want to stick with me?
  21. I am not looking to start another debate on the wheel sizes. I was simply asking for people actual experience using the two at the venue.
  22. Thanks sometime. Luckily I was expecting a bit of the banter that came my way.
  23. Hi all. Let me start by saying that I do not want to start another 26" vs 29" thread. I would like to know from guys/girls that have ridden at Van Gaalens which of the two wheel sizes they felt worked best for them. I started riding in July last year so admittedly i am not the best in the technical sections. Just want to get an idea of which bike to lean towards come race day. Thanks for the help
