AndreZA Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Last night on "I did not know that" on National Gegraphic channel, they had a short insert on how the Orange bikes (no, not Orbeas) are made in England. Damn, there goes alot of work into it.

In the early 90s Steve Bowman brought one of these back from the UK. He raced for them while he lived there....even spotted him in MBUK a couple times

He raced for them while he lived there....even spotted him in MBUK a couple times there was a limited edition (about 2000) re-release about two years back. but there was only a handful brought here.
_BBi Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Orange bikes seem to be well established in the UK as they are widely advertised in UK publications, like Mountain Bike UK. One of there DS models have the same suspension setup as Commecial (that funny rocker system).

rock Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 ja, GM kicked Orange into international fame. Won his world cup title in 2001 on one when riding under Global Racing colours.
