Couple of nice jumps in groenkloof You might wanna try the mountains to the side of Harties , there are hiking trails but whether they will be suitable (or permitted) for bikes I don't know .

If you take malibongwe, turn left at the T junction, carry on straight until you get to the next T and then turn left, VG will be immediately on your right. The trails there are the best in gauteng IMO, well worth the drive.
