GrumpyOldGuy Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Sure you were not dozing off from some red wine Hee, Hee, some Port maybe, red wine is just now.
GrumpyOldGuy Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Boring ?- ok lets see this - a bus stuck under the finish barrier, all the great sprinters taking a tumble ... not knowing if the bus would be removed in +- 8 minutes from the end, I guess your life is pretty exciting with way more happening. No need to be sarcastic, my mileage just differ's from yours, nothing more, nothing less.
'Dale Posted June 29, 2013 Author Posted June 29, 2013 Fortunately, no drams around any GC contenders with all the crashing. Phew!
GrumpyOldGuy Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Fortunately, no drams around any GC contenders with all the crashing. Phew! I thought I saw Contador's jersey was torn, seems he must have fell, or maybe I didn't see right.?
Bianchisti Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 I thought I saw Contador's jersey was torn, seems he must have fell, or maybe I didn't see right.?Think he was (at the very least) held up as he came skittling in rather late in tow. Might have gone down more likely

GrumpyOldGuy Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 EISH....she is stuck I wonder how that happened, I mean surely they know the bus heights.? I see the bus is dropped down completely as well as they have hydraulic systems which they can use to tilt, raise or lower the cabin so it was way higher than the bridge initially.
Bianchisti Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Alberto Contador also made contact with the pavement. “Alberto went to the ground and we still don't know about his precise condition,” said directeur sportif Fabrizio Guidi.
Bianchisti Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Everything looks to be ok, Contador later tweeted, "we think I've nothing broken, now a lot of ice and rest. French asphalt is very hard
Bianchisti Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Sky had at least two riders involved. Geraint Thomas had to be taken to hospital, and Ian Stannard was also involved.
