Cool - i'll send it up with either Alisdair Fey or Andre Pretorius.

Hahahaha - yeah look its a good fork and has done me proud ... but I tried a good couple of years ago to give it external rebound adjustment and machined up new internal pistons etc - but they didnt work - then when i put back all the old original internals it kept on giving this dead spot on square edged hits .. So i donno! .... just rip it apart and have a look and see - maybe Mark Hopkins can retrofit something inside! ... It really is still flipping plush! just that stupid deadspot.

Oh and just beware ... although it can handle big jumps etc - these would be big jumps in 2002 ... not 2013 .. so it has a bit of flex compared to the new age thru axle forks .. but it has still worked for us here on our village bike ...

Rad. It doesn't have to be high end. It's for first timers so they aren't going t be able to discern good or bad.

I'm all for humor guys but can we please keep this one on topic?

I've got a tentative commitment for a rear wheel.

Understood and respected. Posts edited  . Kudos on getting this together.

are you looking for any specific type of wheelsets? i might have one that would be ok.

Hey man. Ja looking for DH wheelsets. 150*12mm rears and 20mm through axles are std stuff for DH but I'm being guided by the forks people have/will donate.

If my fork goes on it uses a standard XC style quick release front hub for the front wheel! - but i have a hub that will come with the fork - so you just need a rim and spokes and rotor

Hey... this village bike better not be nicer than my current bike, or I'm holding niks on that seatpost!

This one won't be. But the next one I have planned has this as a starting point.
