Remember Your position on a thread

On the mobile site, when you open a thread it remembers where your last position was on that thread and you can carry on reading from where you left off. It does not work like that on the full site though...any chance of implementing that...or...is it just a setting I am missing

I have threads that I "follow". when you click on the thread title in the notifications, then it immediately jumps to the last unread post. Maybe that is your solution for now?

YOu just have to click on the star, arrow or dot next to the thread title. Takes you to the first unread post...

oops no...that arrow takes me to the last post and if you hover over it says "Go to Last Post"..so thus far the only thing that works is opening the thread and then clicking "Go to first unread post" link.

 

I only ever browse from the quick links and never from the forums listing so i never see the dot. Back to my original question it would be nice if the main link in the quick link does the same as the "go to first unread post" link....still waiting for matt to pitch in....

What I have shown in my post is the "New Content" which shows the latest posts according to the criteria you set in the panel on the left. You then just click on the dot or the star to navigate to the first unread post.

 

What "quick links" do you refer to when you say that you only browse the quick links?
