Bottom Brackets - Is it worth an upgrade?

Hi guys,

 

I did a quick search but didn't find anything on this topic(if there is one please post the link).

 

Is it worth upgrading your BB to the best that you can afford? It would seem to me that it can make a big difference but are there people here that went from the basic BB to the more expensive, ceramic ones? Is it worth it/did you feel a big difference?

 

I don't mind paying R1600 for something like this but then I want to know it'll make a decent difference:

Ceramic bearings make no difference to your performance or a component's longevity at all.

maybe if you are looking for a weight saving............... 10 or 20 grams! not wort it for me, if u look after your stuff!
