Tour of Austria: Gerald Ciolek leads African team in the Alps

Milan-San Remo winner Gerald Ciolek and Spanish climber Sergio Pardilla will lead Team MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung in the Tour of Austria (June 30 – July 7 / UCI 2. HC) starting this coming Sunday. The two riders from the first African Professional Continental team travel to Austria with good memories: Gerald Ciolek won two stages and the points ranking at the race in 2007, wearing the U23 World Champion's jersey, which he won the year before in Salzburg. Sergio Pardilla climbed to tenth place overall in the race last year, and in 2010 was on the podium in Vienna as second overall. After his good results the last few weeks, the Spanird looks to challenge for stage wins this year.
