Stevens SLC Road Frame

Three weeks ago I was hit by a car whilst training with the result that I now need to acquire a new frame (my Scott CR1 Team issue was literally cut in half!). My budget is limited to the R 15 000 - R 20 000 range.

 

The Stevens SLC seems to be quite a good option. The frame weighs in at 922g and costs about R 18 000,00. It is a relatively unknown brand though and I was wondering if anybody has had any expereinces, good or bad.

Great frames - I have owned the SLC and the Vuelta and they are really well put together, light and stiff. The new SLC is even lighter I believe.

 

Glad you are ok - saw your bike coming into Bowmans and it looked a mess, but at least the PT survived..
