So it would seem according the the internet that I need some DOT4 compatible grease for some of the seals on my brakes, specifically the ones that aren't in contact with the fluid all the time (Hayes Stroker). Does anybody know where to get such a thing?

I'm taking a last shot as Hayes doesn't make the slow lever kit anymore and supposedly it contained new seals and some of this grease which fixed the problem, so hoping my seals are ok and it is just a case of them not being lubricated enough to go back into position. Plus a slow lever kit was R300 which seemed quite steel for some seals and grease.

Yip Red Rubber Grease (Castrol)is th emost common. There are also products from Fuchs, Millers and Dow Corning (Molykote 822M)
