Thug Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 One of the problems I have with this type of race is that the Organisers see it as a money making racket and rip-off the mountain biker. 1. It isn't an official sanctioned event. 2. No timing system. 3. No medical personnel on duty. 4. Crap course design. That's why I don't enter these type of races. !!! Hopefully by ensuring that we all take out CGC licences we (the cyclist) can be in a better position to ensure that minimum standards of races are maintained and unscrupulous race organisers will fall by the wayside.
