Just as a matter of interest. If a lady is entered as a male, this is not SS mistake. They are not responsible for data entry. It is normally done by the likes of Entytime, Cycle lab or alternatively the race organisers do it themselves. Unfortunately SS's results are only as good as the data they receive.

I'll consider this a lesson learned, and stay away from these kind of races. I feel violated ...

I spoke to Wynand de Villiers, there will be no results for this race. He said something about Champion chip that could not provide mats. Why were we not notified before the start of the race, no enrty fee reduction either? They are going to post the top three on cyclingnews.co.za and you can compare your results against that. I don't know how accurate their results are going to be either, as there were guys that did the 25Km and started with the 50Km race.

Where do I find preta valves with removable core, Could not find any at two bike shops I am in Pretoria area.

I got my wife a new Mountainbike all is good and well. I bought all the neccesary add ons. Got home and wanted to put slime in the wheels and discovered she it has presta valves. The valve cannot be removed and therfore I cannot get slime in. Surely there must be a way to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

I have noticed that at a certain spot on my training route my HR jumps very high every time for a couple of seconds and them comes down to normal. It must be power lines or something.

From all the bikes we have seen she is leaning towards the Gary Fisher, no one has commented on it. It has fair components, but I don't know the bikes.

I am in Pretoria, if I dont find anyting I will definately go and have a look there thanks. Giving the wife my bike and buying me a new one might seem like a good idea now but I will only be riding my new bike and nothing else. If you know what I am saying

We are looking at buying a MTB for my wife. I am clueless when it comes to this and would appreciate some help. We are looking at spending more or less R4000.
