I sometimes get confused with trail direction at Giba.

Are the trails direction specific?

Yes they are. Some of the Giba die hards get bored of the same old and ride the trails the wrong way ..

But the short answer is that they are not uni directional.

There fixed - all trails except the Waterfall Trail are direction specific - however as Skott says some riders continue to ride the trails in reverse which is giving the park a bad rep. Fair enough ... signage is not the greatest and the park needs to be "policed" a bit better .... but it also comes down to the attitude of the riders. They think that they are "king ding" and can do what they want - and dont give a rats arse about the possible repercussions of a headon accident.

In any of the bike parks overseas if you are found riding a trail in a manner other than directed - you are banned from the park. Giba however are too scared to do this as it will reduce numbers and possibly, again, give them a bad rep with the riders.

Hi All...

I am in Durbs for the school holidays with my wife and kids...

Anybody keen to join or show us the way at Giba Gorge tomorrow morning?

Any advice on what will be the best times to go out there? Don't want to get caught in rush hour traffic?

Please advise

Thanks
