Can you maybe put more info on here, it's a tad difficult to try and follow another thread with what happened without having to read all 8 pages. I.e. a short summary would be good.

After the first post, we are helping him buy a bike in ta price range so he can ride with his kids and do a bit od riding on dirt.

 

Hi guys, as i dont know much about mtb i weas wondering if this is a ok deal. i know its not a disc brake and not a 29er etc, but as a starter bike just so i can get out thewre with my son's while i save for a proper bike what do you guys think?

 

the owner works with me and wants R750 for it. i think its ok but hten again i dont really know what all to look for in a mtb as i'm normally a roadie.

 

apparently its a 21speed and changes gears on the handle grip(which i dont know if this is a good thing or not as i'm starting out)

 

advice appreciated.
