At long last some GREAT weather predicted for this one!!!

Just dont know if the "lack of riding during a month of rain" will help with that one climb of 630m+...

Oh well..."I LIKE TO RIDE MY BICYCLE" (as Queen would have it  )

CYA THEN!!

Looks like incredible weather. Also a week of no rain, its going to be incredible. It is a very well organised race and some tough climbs. See you all there.

Im reeeeally looking forward to this one, ..new bike to test, new tires, new gear ratio, ... and its just been too much of a wait for a nice race! See you there Schalk1982 (I'll be on a Scott Scale 920 with ZTR Crests and a "Scappa" kit)

matt black Specialized stumpjumper ht, with Songo Specialized kit. See you there. Glad I am not the only one having sleepless nights about a dry race with normal temperatures.

Also going to be there... Doubt its going to be 100% dry though. Does the route go over some sections of the Burger 60km?

Rebelking I don't think so, if I can remember from last year, its quite some distance from "Die Burger" route

Should be dry enough for a good turnout. Dont think it covers any Burger sections. Backsberg has some killer climbs, luckily they also produce some great wines for after the race. See you there.

Here we go, I've attached the route profile for those that think "Agh its only 45km's"!! Bring your climbing gear! 1800m of climbing in 43km's is gonna be a fun day out!

I am in, last minute decision, but the route looks to good to miss. See you all there. I am taking my DH bike along for a few runs down Taal Monument after the rugby as well, so I will have to dust it off this evening.

Well, you have enough going up at the Backsberg, so some "down-time" after the rugby is definitely in order!
