Hi guys.

I've decided to try and help a friend sell his bike, but I'm not sure what it's worth. Can anyone give me some pointers?

It's a Token full carbon 29er - Large.

Complete XX SRAM groupset

2x10 gears

Rock Shox Reba fork (not sure model or travel)

ZTR Crest Rims

Maxxis tubeless tyres (I think its Crossmarks)

Pedals removed - buyer can put new ones on.

The bike is in pristine condition with low mileage.

The owner doesn't like the hobby any more (can you believe it!).

I wish I could afford buying this bike now. It's light and very well looked after. Instead I'll try find a buyer for him.

He wants R16k for it. Is that a reasonable expectation?

Sorry for the poor quality WhatsApp pics. I can upload decent ones in a few days.

The size of the bike and an add in the classified section should spark some interest. At the price he is looking for IF the drive train is in very good nick he should get it easy. There will be a bunch of so called weight weenies that will first like to know the weight.

You know those same people that go to a car dealership and then want to know the exact weight of the car that they buying.

Drivetrain is said to be in very good condition with almost no visible wear, but I would comment on it when I have the bike with me in a few days. Then I can also look at the weight.
