ccc2 Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 (edited) the last time i rode with so many riders at Killarney was back in the 90's when Di Roberts ran the show. there use to be 3 bunches and she would call out the names that she allocated to each bunch. woe betide if you were caught in the wrong bunch. scratch +2 would go off and when they were seen going past the home straight then scratch + 1 would be off. when scratch + 2 entered the home straight scratch would be on their way. it was generally scratch +2 = funriders, scratch +1 = licensed vets,u16's and scratch = elites. she event had a lighties race from 5pm to 5.45pm Edited October 3, 2013 by ccc2 xamnam 1
