econd Hand Bicycles USA + HubSA Equivalent?

I'm going to be staying in the US for much of next year and I think that it might be effective to buy a second hand racing bike there, instead of lugging my bike across the Atlantic.

 

Does anyone know of a popular platform where second hand bicycles are sold in the US? Similar to popularity of The HubSA and Gumtree in South Africa.

 

I've looked at Ebay and Craigslist, but the prices didn't look to great.
