I have used Timefreight before with no issues. Just make sure the sender wraps it thoroughly.

Would be nice of the seller to organize all this from his side for you.

Thats how it should be...

Depends what was agreed between the two parties. I wouldnt say it is the responsibility of the seller.

I said it would be NICE. It's jut considerate of the seller to arrange travel arrangements for the bike he just sold to someone out of town. It does not have to be for the sellers account

Would that be wrapped in bubble wrap?

How much disassembly do you need to do?

Get a box from your lbs and send it through Time freight.

I've done it 3 times

An old box from an unpacked new bike? That would be the best.

Eeish I've asked a few times and they never have any lying around at that moment, they normally say come back next week getting more bikes but I'll need the box in the next day or 2 or I'll go next week and the new stock hasn't arrived yet. A bit hit n miss.

Or you could as the the seller to drop it off at the nearest Cycle Lab and they will pack/box it and send it to a Cycle Lab closest to you and you pick up there ...that will be about 500rand ... :)
