I can do a four hour ride with endomondo running on my Samsung S4 and the battery only goes down by about 30%

Tracked my Amashova ride with my S4 and Endomondo without a problem. I did turn packet data off during the ride which made a big difference.

Yep - about same as mine if I remember to start fully charged.

Also I leave the data connection on so that my wife knows where I am at. I find hitting the the little power power saving button in the pull down menu helps quite a lot too.
