Hi Guys

I have a newbie question....

I did the 94.7 on Sunday and through the following year I want to do all the big events like the Amashova and the Argus.

In order to keep myself motivated in between races and to train I want to do other races as well.

The question is, how do you know which races are suitable for beginners or can you enter for any race?

Thanks

Most of our road races are suitable for beginners, exceptions being mainly the stage races (Kremetart, Jock, Panorama etc). If you are worried about the profile or difficulty of some of them, enter the short distances to see how it goes.

Don't enter too many, you are just going to tire yourself out, and it can become boring to do too many.

Do the bigger early season races (Berge & Dale, Dischem, Emporers etc), then decide how you want to handle the rest of the year
