Have tried the new sections twice now and I like it more everytime.

The whole course is definitely more technical in reverse and thus "slower".

Found myself having so much fun my Garmin was screaming at me to calm down.

More than worth a visit now and the R30 entry is priced just right.

The bike wash down would be awesome - would prefer to wash off the animal Doo doo before loading the bike... the wildlife makes for a nice different experience also.

  Yeah... interfering with my STRAVA :P

Great fun these trails...the new rock gardens are a very welcome addition...

I must admit... I miss the flowing high speed S curves down to the bottom...

but there is new challenging ones in reverse which is good.

Guys big big ups to the people working on and improving this track.  Its really really awesome now. So much fun for "quick" close ride. Now has all the technical stuff you need for a good fun session.  Love it!!!  Thank you for the hard work and I can see that it has been hard work.  You guys are doing an awesome job.

Best of all is the beer bar after a good ride!!

Excellent. Well done Scotty.

Cliff and I have today opened a new Red section.

As you enter the transition between forest two and three, follow the red arrows sharp left into another testing forest. There are four interesting humps to negotiate.

Good luck.

Safe cycling and ENJOY.

Spent a bit of time on the trails over the festive period. They are riding lovely. Saturday morning was firm and fast, but loamy and loose in places to make it more fun!

Noticed a new thing with the peacocks...had three jump down from tree branches as I neared and then they bolted up the track in front of me!

Hey Guys!

Relatively new to this forum. Do not even own a mountain bike yet (still in the process of shopping for an entry level bike if you check my previous threads).

Reason for the post is that I am actually a member from the golfing side and have been for about 10 years. I cannot tell you enough about gratitude I have! The respect I have experienced and seen between golfer and biker alike is brilliant for the club! The camaraderie is great and love seeing families, friends etc on the trail while I shank my drive :P.

To all those involved, you cannot be congratulated enough! Very well done!

Hope to see you all on the trail when I eventually get a bike! Until then, I will see you all for a beer at the Green Bar!

Regards.

Thanks Juddvdb.

You are hopefully aware that as a golfing member you can enjoy 24/7 cycling for the price of an entry tag.

Go on - get the bike, enjoy club from a different perspective (I may even return some of the golf balls that you have lost in the forest  :D )

If you need assistance with bike choice etc, please feel free to give me a shout.

The trails do seem to be getting better and better I enjoy going there especially now due to the fantastic cover you get under the trees. one can forget sometimes that while there you are actually on a golf course in the middle of a residential area.

So when is the next night ride planned?

Totally different experience...

+1 on the thanks for the work being done on the trails.
