Where to find knee and elbow guards?

Hi there,

I need the above for my wife which started MTB'ing recently. Seems nobody in S/West stock them?!

We have looked at Motocross type guards over the week-end, but most of what is avalaible are too bulky or "unfit" for cycling.

 

She used to be quite competive on a road bike, but I am concerned that she will "right herself off" before she start enjoying MTB'ing!

Please help!

She is quite small, so anything to fit kids or XS to S will be concidered

if it's just for general use then look at the G-form stuff. Fits well. A lot of LBSes are starting to stock it now.

dialdbikes.co.za has a range of pads, http://g-form.com/ offers soft pads with fancy technologies too. And I think Revolution Cycles in Cape Town stocks them

yeah, I got my set (knee and elbow) from Mike's Bikes. Haven't bailed with it yet, and probably wont use the knee guards for downhill (I have 2 sets of TLD's for that)... but keen to use the elbow guards in the Alps next year. Last year my 661 hard cup elbow guards became really irritating when the breaking bumps shake them down to one's wrists during a 10min descent.
