Heia Safari Lodge - Lake Heritage Water Quality

Hi Guys,

 

Anyone been open water swimming at Heia Safari Lodge recently? How is the water quality? Any problems? I have been wanting to go and train there, but I have been getting mixed messages about people getting sick from the water etc.

Swam a race there a little while ago. Maybe 2 months - can't really remember exact date.

 

Water was fine - I didnt have any issues.

the water is tested often and quality is great , the midmar qualify swim is at the lake next weekend and so water will be tested for the 3rd time in prob as many months this week and never had a problem .

Also swam a race there 2 months ago, water was cold but felt fine afterwards.
