News bot Posted February 18, 2014 Share Four-times winner of the Absa Cape Epic, Christoph Sauser (37) of Switzerland, will team up with Frantisek Rabon (30) for the first time as Team Meerendal-Songo-Specialized. Sauser won the race in 2013, 2012, 2011 and 2006. This year’s race, which takes place from 23 to 30 March 2014, will once again take 1 200 riders through some of the Western Cape’s most unspoilt territory. The race will kick-off with the Prologue at Meerendal Wine Estate in Durbanville and finish 8 days later at Lourensford Wine Estate.
