The reality is that the Cape would have been better off with the ANC. Less people and no development means enough water. The water situation has made the Cape 1 of the worst cities in the world, at the moment I will be happy to live in any city that has water. If the fit of the medium ht Giant is good I would recommend looking at a medium Epic. I would rather ride a small dually and medium ht, I would not recommend up-sizing when moving from ht to dually - a dually tends to have longer chainstays and wheelbase

And also instead of just top tube length, reach is the more important variable to look at at with regards to rider fit. And then I think it would be better to take the rider size into account as well instead of just comparing a new bike to his old bike. There is a big difference in wheelbase between these 2 bikes and if he likes the short wheelbase and he can fit on a smaller dually with shorter wheelbase?

Call me crazy, but times have changed. The best design today is the most sustainable 1. Having a sustainable world for future generations is priceless and a non-negotiable requirement. Private vehicles with combustion engines should be banned and everybody should be allowed to own 1 steel bicycle.

Ban carbon and alu bikes and only allow steel frames for now. The time has come, in fact we are at the tipping point, for mankind to take drastic action on sustainability. Nature has had enough of mankind`s bs and punishment is due.
