DeFconOK Posted February 21, 2014 Share So i'm keen on getting a new MTB AM hardtail frame but it comes with a fully integrated headset, I've seen road bike bearings flopping around the frame, But usually caused by exterior damage. David Marshall Posted February 22, 2014 Share I'm not a fan of fully integrated headsets. I have seen damage to the housings, the worst from a crash where the steerer dented the housing badly. To me it is just one step closer to scrapping the frame than with a semi integrated. My pet gripe is press fit BB's.
