Sharky535 Posted March 6, 2014 Share Hi guys My colleague recently bought a Momsen AL655 with the Rock Shock 30 Gold TK fork and he would like to add remote lockout to the fork. The damper's lockable as is (well, it's got adjustable LSC if you want to be technical about it), but to fit a remote you need a damper with a spring that defaults to open since a cable can only provide tension. Which means either a new damper or a bodge with a spring from a remote damper, plus a new adjuster and a cable stop. In the case of a 30mm fork, option 2 is it. PB, your Recon Gold has 32mm stanchions, so that damper won't fit. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
