Yes, but is it immoral? One should be above the law, and be able to decide whether it is going to be more convenient for oneself to change lanes without signalling...

 

Yeah, coz manslaughter is what the motorists are really after,apart from taxi's. They are fine examples of the perfect law abiding citizen.

who uses hand signals when changing lanes on their bicycles, as required by law ........ oh yes, in case scotty nails me ... every bicycle is required by law to have a ring ring bell, not a bell helmet, which would be great marketing.

 

I use signals, mainly I sit up and try and make myself as visible as possible, cause I don't want to be rear ended.

 

Someone should get in touch with whoever imports/distributes bell helmuts, and get them to run a campaign where they give a free bell (and a one pager on cycling safety) with each bell helmet purchased.

make it permanent that you first get your learners permit, you then need to ride with cyclist who already has his license for at least one month then you must go and ride your license. You also need to carry your license card if you do not want to be fined
