Scott Spark issues

Well, my Mate bought a Scott 920. Under 6 months head set had to be replaced ( Scott would not replace it under warrenty ) so he spent R900 and got a fixed bearing. Now the Scott is squeeking, they say it is the pivot points that need replacing. So now a friend who has loved Scott is starting to think otherwise. He is getting very upset. Each time they say you dont lube it enough, you using the incorrect lube ( even though they pointed out the lube to use. )

So yes Scott not going well.

Funny thing is that he google Scott and found that the Head set can be a problem, the shop said that only very few buyers have had that issue, when he was looking to buy one. Guess what he is one of them now. lol

Own a scott spark 720, only 6 months old, done plenty of long distance rides.

No problem, the headset is just sealed bearings as all bikes, no difference,so what makes scott any different to any other bike?
