Download routes from the Polar G5 Gps unit

I want to download the routes I ride, I have a polar RS800CX watch and G5 Gps unit, how do I go about doing it and can I do it with this watch and Gps unit.

I would like to know what rechargeable batteries are you using with your G5? I have a G3, but the batteries don't seem to last that long

there is no batteries with the G5, it uses internal batteries charged from usb.
