Visit 1: 2.5 hours - includeds dietary analysis and peak power output

Visit 2: 2.5 hours - 2 hour steady state ride at 55% of peak power

Day prior to visit 3: Come to Sports Science to collect labelled water and give blood sample

Visit 3: 5.5 hours - 2nd dietary analysis, tracer infusion, muscle biopsies, 2 hour ride

Visit 4: Oral glucose tolerance test (used to measure glucose tolerance and insulin resistance)

 

Whole thing is usually done over 2 to 3 weeks.

I received them a couple of years back during a similar trail in the institute :eek:

 

It would have been nice to see a photo/video indicating the needle/equipment used beforehand. :whistling:
