Question for anyone who has the KCNC Ti Pro Lite 8000 seatpost:

The "connecting rod", shown in the picture between the arrows, has movement backwards and forwards before tightening the bolts. My question is, where should this be positioned? Currently I've pushed it all the way back to try and get the top clamps to sit square on the saddle rails, am I on the right track?

Thanks

An update on this, pushing the "connecting rod" all the way back to get the top clamps to sit square, did NOT work. The bolts started coming loose, and the "connecting rod" worked itself forward.

Asked the shop about it, and they said push the "connecting rod" all the way forward, until it stops against the "stopper". I did this, and have had no more issues so far.
