MTN National MTB Series men’s log leader Nico Bell clinched a hard fought victory over Germany’s Karl Platt while Theresa Ralph clinched the women’s spoils in the second of two South African legs of the 2014 UCI Marathon World Series on Sunday 4 May, emphasising Bell’s strong form ahead of the UCI MTB Marathon World Championships which take place in Pietermaritzburg in June.
