David Marshall Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 It is unlikely that you will find what you are looking for locally. Most of the 1inch headsets here are cheapies and not suited to a real bike. If your headset races are damaged you will need to replace the headset and then you need to establish if yours is JIS or ISO standard 1". The part of the cup that goes into the headtube measures exactly 30mm OD and 27mm ID on the JIS and 30.2mm and 26.4mm on the ISO standard. The 1 inch forks are still used in the UK on commuters so that is where I would start looking. You just might find something with cartridge bearings but don't hold your breath.
