I make sure I have the overseas winter gear, its the only stuff to ride with in the winter. Our local stuff just doesnt work.

I have a BRIKO riding thermal top and long bib's...and they are fantastic.

If you ride in winter, the imported stuff is worth the EXTRA cash!

Do you get a lot of stuff from Swift Muxman?

I bought my frame from him and while I was there I managed to check out all the stuff.

I have to say that the new Corima wheels are something as is all the FSA stuff as is all the Etxeondo clothing - in fact everything I saw there was fantastic excellent quality and well priced.

I highly recommend this guy and the stuff he sells.

Oh and not to mention the new BH frames - ahhhhhh one day Clap

Corima stuff is fantastic, full stop.

I also like the Assos kit. Its damn nice.

Ok Swift, now I know where to get Corima gear should I manage to overcome my frame purchase calamity from last year!!!!

MMMM had a look at some Assos stuff not so long ago, contentious issue here but price wise and quality wise and style wise I don't think it comes close to the Etexeondo stuff.

So? whats a carbon fibre jersey going to do against wayward electromagnetic radiation?

It would be quite easy to test. Place a cell phone in the pocket, phone it with another phone. If it rings, the claim is marketing BS. Carbon fibre is not a good EM shield, but if a layer of metal mesh is added to the lay-up, it will shield OK. Conductive paint can also be used.

Do you make ones on order with own design on?

I know a few companies we can get stuff printed or embrioded on... if that helps?

Now for the question everyone is wanting to ask

?

HOW MUCH?

This shirt retails for R1261. It is the most expensive of our range.

Posted

Which part of the shirt is made from carbon fibre?

?

Isnt carbon fibres either black or gray?

?

Im asking because I've got some normal dry carbon fibre cloth on my?desk' date=' its seems fairly unsuitable for use as cloathing - very itchey & rough, doesn't stretch at all, makes splinters.??

[/quote']

Bwahahahaha! Nice... :)

The carbon fibre you have on your desk is a sheet of carbon fibre. It is most probably pre-imgregnated, but i can't be sure :) Those splinters are the threads, and are the same thickness as what is woven into this shirt...

hahaha... this must be the biggest marketing scam ever!

i doubt carbon fibre is lighter than what my cycling tops are made of. and what the ****is electrosmog?? i bet someone dreamt up some big words and decided they needed something to sell along with those words...

Most of the things you own are sold with a hint of 'marketing bulls**t' mate. If it wasn't who knows what we would be riding in or on... But, there is truth in it, and it ain't for weight saving... if you want that, take some stickers off your frame :)

Word of advice...just dont try iron the damn thing.

But otherwise they are very good.

Hey Swift' date=' do you have any thermal winter gear?[/quote']

We do... a great range. Give me a shout and come see. We are in Bryanston JHB. If you not in Gauteng, email me and i'll courier the stuff to you directly
