I had a warranty issue with a KTM frame recently. These things can be tricky - firstly to prove, and the logistics/shipping etc, can be time consuming.

Initially it was handled by Cylelab via the SA importer and KTM Austria. KTM honoured the warranty, but claimed their seasonal production meant the frame wouldn't be replaced until August (the saga started in March).

It could have been left at that - I'd have to wait 4 months for a new frame! But the Cyclelab guys stepped up and made a plan. It was clear 'the customer' was the focus (quite refreshing in these times), even though it meant carrying the risk themselves. The whole issue was resolved promptly and courteously. Kudos to David and Allan, and their staff; thanks for getting us back on the trail.
