Hi Guys

I am looking into getting Italian classic... Colnago M10s

Just strugging to figure out the sizig, due to the slopping.

I am 1.77 tall, i normally ride a 54cm frame, from what i have read one should go two sizes down . So then in theory i should go with the 50s

Imput would be appreciated

regards

2 sizes down sounds rough.

Perhaps compare virtual top tube lengths and try to get these as close as possible.

Are you buying from a dealer or online?

A dealer should be able to get you on the right size.

I am 175 and have a 52S C59 with a 100mm ritchey stem. And it works fine and I am not overstretched @all.It is a totally awsum bike

The 50s could theoretically also have worked with a much longer stem. I would also think it would be easier to sell a 52s than a 50s secondhand as it would easily fit a greater number of people.

OP, what are you currently riding and has it been set up for you properly. Take measurements from your current setup, i.e. Horizontal top tube length( center to center), head tube (top to bottom) and then compare to M10 sloping geometry chart ( available on colnago.com).
