Not sure if this was mentioned allready...

 

Anyone see the kid that got injured on the 25km mtb, saw him lying on a rocky downhill and I thought he just had a nasty fall.

 

Then I saw the pictures posted on facebook today and it was a bit of a shocker

 

Apparently on of the 50km riders pushed him off his bike and just sped off without cheking to see if he is ok. The brake lever went almost straight through his thigh, missing his artery by milimeters. The pictures are quie scary, he is very lucky to be alive.

 

His parents are now enquiring if anyone knows who the rider was...

well I am shocked by this, and the other post made about pushing the ou off the road... are cyclists a bunch of neandrathals ...wtf..I hope they catch the ou and nail him for attempted murder or something...

I hope its just a phase ... enough bad publicity in cycling, we also need to take note of offenders so we can name and shame them at least (Me personally.. I will crack open your skull if you push me off the road) Did I say that out loud !!!

All the assholes who used to be on the road are now taking up this new MTB fad. That's why there is always **** at MTB races and on trails and such.

 

The good thing is though, now that most of them are riding MTB's, people out on the road are a lot nicer.

Your post is very funny. I'm actually not sure who you are moaning about, roadies, ex roadies, mtbers, ex mtbers or do you want to just lambast all cyclists?

3 of us were on a club ride today, Guy in a BMW almost took all of us out(sigh). At the robot i put my hand up to gesture questioningly ??? Did he take off at me , actually waited to verbally abuse me waving his fist. Sadly I @#$%$% back at him saying don't be selfish we also pay road tax(Big Mistake)!!!! dude pulled off to the side of the road and waited for me with armed with a knuckle duster (WTF). Anyway we dodged around him and left him to his Anger hoping that we would not get a surprise attack later on the ride .... damn we dont need this stress :oops:
