Anybody know where I can get the results?

Not on yet, but can be found here if you're a paid up PPA member with a Racetec chip

the 45km was hard. Cycled up every climb except the 3 hills on the 30km mark. My computer showed 41km, but i really enjoyed it. Wonder what the real elevation was?

The 80km was flippen tough - it was the first time in many races that I had do push my bike up some of the climbs! It was a great event though! The road markings were great, marshalling along the route were excellent, water points adequately stocked. Nice food and ambience at Van Lovers. Kudos to PPA and Van Loveren!

I never push, I PUSHED,..I never fall, I went OTB,.. I never wish for a race to end, I PRAYED FOR THIS ONE TO END the whole last 20km!! Lol! Still had alot of fun in a weird way, and happy with my 8th place in the 80km. Thx van Loveren, and see you next year!

Well done on 8th place Brandon!! Racetec's results are lekker deurmekaar - do you perhaps know what the winning time was?

Yeah, don't know how Racetec messed up the results this time. Not sure what Louis Bresler Knipe's winning time was, but probably something ridiculous that will make the rest of the results look like we should've done the kiddies race ^_^ , that guy is sooo good!

Edit: Louis say he did a 3h30min

I see the first guy and ladys time on racetec is a mistake. the winnig times for the 45km according to racetec is not right. If you check the profiles of the guy and girl that won then its obvious they must of done the 20km blue route.

A budy of mine son came in 6th on the 45km. If I check the results there are 7 people on top that shouldn't be there. I started in group H but is shown that I started in G.

For now, you cant really go by the results, its a complete mess, Racetec will hopefully sort it out tomorrow

i did a 2:33. rode with my girlfriend the first 20km but i didnt want to push her too hard so i went on my own from there. after the second water point i saw a couple of people go the blue arrow way and not the black

Brandon well done. Compared to Bopiketburg how did you find it? I did the Apple Blossom today as it is part of W2W and I needed to see the new route changes. You missed a goodie. 50kms 1100 climbing. And we all got lost. Ha ha.

Oh no! Bad markings? It was not as relentless as BoPiketberg but the amount of climbing, 1700m all the first 53km, together with the crazy inclines (I had to get off twice and push) of some sections and difficult terrain it occurred in, I'd say it was on par ito difficulty, just in a completely different way, I felt equally stuffed on both occasions lol

The last 20km also led us into a very strong headwind, that was the final nail in the coffin for me, I was hoping for a nice easy tailwind home! Even Louis Bresler said it was a tough course

Yep,i warned you yesterday.I even found the route more intense than last year.If not mistaken, some of the climbs were tamed, and i cannot recall the portage section.

I never thought long steep climbs on grass fields with rabbit holes all over would be found in a MTB race! I crashed just after all the climbing were done and those guys helped everyone get pass the rough singletrack section, got a bit too cumfy on that new track,..today I'm paying for it with a stiff and sore rightside everything :-)
