Mmm... I stay in Ebotse - how on earth are you going to get a 40 km MTB route, even if it is a double loop.

Sorry for the late reply! There is a track set up for 20km and the 40km will be a double loop of this.

 

It is going to be an officially timed event with SS Timing.

So how was the race and the route?

 

Did a recce ride of the route on Friday and considering the limitations of the area, the route was not too bad.  CR Swart Park portion was not ideal to increase the distance, rather do 3 shorter laps.
