rudi-h Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 I was quite keen on South America for my last trip... I ended up in Alaska, but I'd use the same format wherever I go next! Can't remember specific trails, but there were quite a few awesome places. I thought of making Bariloche, Argentina my base. I'm not too sure of specific areas/towns in Chile and Brazil. I'd recommend a bob trailer. This way you can go with a trail bike and get a mix of touring and trail riding all in one and you aren't limited by other transport options if you need to get around with all your stuff. Un-clip the trailer and off you go to ride trails. Even if you're not planning on a lot of touring, it still gives you the option to get around.
